EXPO2015 is a universal exhibition to be held in Milan from May 1 to October 31, 2015 on the theme “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life” and which will be attended by more than 147 countries, international organizations and civil society. The event will be held on an exhibition area of one million square meters and up to 20 million participants from all over the world are expected. Visitors will be able to learn about the various pavilions and take part in the thematic courses on global nutrition and sustainable agriculture.
Giovanni Rimoldi, Technical Director of Soceca Construction, has been appointed Participant Technical Supervisor (PTS) and Logistic Manager (PLM) for the Israeli Pavilion “Fields of Tomorrow”. The PTS fulfills the role of technical supervisor during the construction phase and the subsequent dismantling, at the end of the event, of the Self-Built Exhibition Space intended to accommodate the more than 2000 square meters of the Pavilion of the State of Israel.
During his activity, the professional will monitor all the construction operations that will lead to the completion of the modern pavilion project focused on the theme “Tomorrow’s Agriculture”. Israel is a young country with a thousand-year tradition in agriculture and today ranks among the most avant-garde in research on agricultural technologies to be used in areas subject to desertification. The visitor will be attracted to the pavilion for its spectacular vertical architecture and will be guided by edutainment methods, a special combination of education and entertainment, to learn about the world of sophisticated agricultural engineering Israeli.
